Marketing Manager

About EquanimGRC
EquanimGRC is an early-stage technology company building modern governance, risk, and compliance infrastructure for organizations that take security seriously.
Our platform helps companies understand, document, and maintain their compliance posture across frameworks including SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR, PCI DSS, and NIST CSF.
EquanimGRC replaces disconnected spreadsheets, repetitive questionnaires, and generic policy templates with an evidence-driven platform designed around how modern teams operate.
Our AI-powered Posturizer turns a company’s existing policies, reports, handbooks, and operating documents into source-backed policy drafts and control mappings. Every claim is tied to supporting evidence, uncertainty is clearly identified, and humans retain responsibility for every final decision.
The Opportunity
EquanimGRC is seeking a creative, analytical, and hands-on Marketing Manager to build and execute the company’s marketing strategy.
Working directly with the founder, you will shape how EquanimGRC presents its product, reaches prospective customers, and establishes credibility in the governance, risk, compliance, and cybersecurity markets. You will own positioning, content, product marketing, demand generation, lifecycle communications, and marketing operations.
This is a hands-on position. The Marketing Manager will personally write, build, launch, measure, and improve campaigns while also developing the systems and strategy that can support a growing marketing function.
The ideal candidate can understand a technically sophisticated product, identify what matters most to customers, and communicate that value in language that is clear, compelling, and credible.
What You’ll Do

• Develop lead-nurture programs that guide prospective customers from initial awareness through product evaluation and onboarding.
• Plan and support webinars, virtual demonstrations, partnerships, industry events, and other customer-acquisition initiatives.

• Conduct customer, competitor, and industry research to identify market needs, messaging opportunities, and emerging trends.
• Participate in selected customer discovery calls, product demonstrations, and onboarding conversations.
• Collect and organize customer feedback to inform marketing strategy, product messaging, and future content.
• Develop a strong understanding of the GRC and cybersecurity landscape without relying on unnecessary jargon or overstated claims.
Measurement and Optimization
• Establish practical performance metrics for content, campaigns, website traffic, lead
generation, demo conversion, and pipeline contribution.
• Produce clear reports showing what is working, what is not, and what should be tested next.
• Use performance data and customer feedback to continuously improve campaigns, content, and conversion paths.
• Manage the marketing budget carefully and recommend investments based on measurable business value.
What We’re Looking For
• At least five years of marketing experience, preferably within B2B SaaS, cybersecurity, compliance, enterprise technology, or another technical industry.

• Analytical judgment and the ability to make decisions using both quantitative results and qualitative customer feedback.
• Thoughtful experience using AI tools for research, drafting, analysis, and productivity while
independently verifying accuracy and protecting confidential information.
• Excellent attention to detail, particularly when working with security, compliance, and trust-related claims.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience marketing governance, risk, compliance, cybersecurity, privacy, or audit-related products.
• Familiarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR, PCI DSS, NIST CSF, or related
frameworks.
• Experience launching or marketing an early-stage SaaS product.
• Experience working directly with a technical founder or product-development team.
